This time we chat about exercise.

This time we chat about exercise. What exercise do you prefer? Sybrand and I love walking long distance in the outdoors. As long as we exercise we have a lot of health benefits.

Here are some of the benefits that physical activity offers:
  • It strengthens the heart. The heart is a muscle.
  • It helps keep arteries and veins clear.
  • It strengthens the lungs.
  • It reduces blood sugar levels.
  • It controls weight.
  • It strengthens bones.
  • It helps prevent cancer.
  • It regulates blood pressure.

But what exercise should you do? Choose the right exercise for you. Choose exercise that you enjoy. Choose more than one type of exercise. Vary the intensity of your exercise. Choose exercise options that fit your lifestyle. Join a class or social sports team. Have alternative exercise options that don't depend on good weather or daylight.
