Customer project: Copper Song Bundle Trivets by Irene

Customer project: Copper Song Bundle Trivets by Irene

y friend Irene is making this wonderful set of  trivets. Thank you so much for sharing this with us Irene - and wow, what determination!

Irene said: "Finished off this trivet today despite having a broken left wrist. Hubby helped me a bit and the front was already done before I broken my wrist but I just needed to put on an envelope back. Very happy with the result and that I could do something after breaking the wrist. Now to do 3 more when I am feeling a bit better.
I took the round design, sewed it out as is, then put down an envelope back and duplicated the stitch around the edge to seal it off, inverted it to form the trivet."

"Thank you so much for sharing this with us Irene - and wow, what determination! We're so impressed that you pushed through and finished your beautiful trivet despite your broken hand. That's dedication right there! We're thrilled to hear your hubby could lend a hand (literally!) to help you complete it.
Your trivet looks absolutely stunning, and we love how you've adapted the Copper Song Bundle design with the envelope back - such a clever way to make it functional! The fact that you've already got plans for three more shows just how much you enjoyed working with this pattern.
We're eagerly waiting to see photos of your finished projects when you're feeling better and have completed the rest! There's nothing we love more than seeing how our designs come to life in your hands.
Wishing you a speedy recovery - take care of that wrist and don't rush it!
Get well soon! 💙"
