I have wanted this set for years , never thought I had a use for thses designs. The opportunity to buy these was to good pass on.
I have embroidered three of the butterflies on to a scrappy quilt, I upcycled some patchwork fabric, made up of 2 inch squares and used in another project. I decided to reuse the fabric in lap quilt. There were places that need reinforcing after being quilted, seams pulling away etc. the butterflies were perfect for this. I hint of something ethereal , but not dominating, as the quilt is a 'busy' pattern. When I finish the quilt, it needs to be bound I will post a photo and see if you can the butterflies
