How Our Tissue Box Covers Come Together:

Each panel of your tissue box cover is stitched individually, all in the hoop. Once your five panels are complete, you have three simple options for joining them:

Option 1: Zigzag Stitch Finish

Using a zigzag stitch on your sewing machine, join the four side panels to the top panel. Then close each of the four side seams, also with a zigzag stitch.

Option 2: Straight Stitch from the Reverse

Leave a small allowance of fabric or stabilizer along each edge. Once the embroidery is complete, join the panels from the reverse side using a straight stitch on your sewing machine.

Option 3: Decorative Edge Finish

Choose designs that include a decorative edge instead of a satin outline. With this option, the bottom edge of the tissue box is finished with a satin stitch, while the corners feature a decorative edge for a beautiful finishing touch. As with Option 2, leave a small allowance of fabric along each decorative edge, then join the seams from the reverse side with a straight stitch once all embroidery is complete.
