Transform your embroidery skills into practical, everyday luxury with the Vision Valet eyeglass sleeve! This clever all-in-the-hoop design features a special interior lining that doubles as a lens cleaner, keeping your glasses protected and crystal clear wherever you go.
The Vision Valet makes a perfect:
For an extra touch of luxury, we recommend using genuine leather for the exterior! Leather offcuts from your local handcrafted furniture store are often available at minimal cost, making this an affordable way to create a high-end accessory. The natural leather creates a durable, sophisticated look that improves with age.
One of the best features of the Vision Valet is its sturdy yet slim profile. Unlike bulky commercial cases that take up precious space in your purse or pocket, this sleek design offers reliable protection without the bulk. It's the perfect space-saving solution for travelers, commuters, or anyone who appreciates streamlined accessories.
We're excited to offer the Vision Valet in multiple sizes to help organize every aspect of your life:
Each size features the same premium construction and lens-cleaning interior, making this design truly versatile. Create a matching set in coordinating fabrics for a complete organization system!
Best of all, this project is completely beginner-friendly while still being satisfying for experienced stitchers. In just a few simple steps, you'll create a polished, functional accessory that looks store-bought but has your personal touch.
Step 1: Hoop your stabilizer and stitch the first color stop which creates your outline. Apply embroidery adhesive spray to help position one layer of batting plus your exterior fabric over this outline.
Step 2: Stitch the second color stop to secure your fabric and batting within the hoop.
Step 3: The decorative design will now stitch on your exterior fabric.
Step 4: Remove the hoop and turn it around. Apply adhesive spray to the back and attach your special lens-cleaning lining fabric.
Return the hoop to your machine and stitch the next color stop - this creates a running stitch that secures the lining.
Remove the hoop again, carefully trim excess fabric from both front and back sides, then reattach the hoop. Remember to use matching top and bobbin thread for a professional finish.
Step 5: The satin stitch will now run around the entire edge, beautifully finishing your project while securing all raw edges.
Step 6: Two small "+" markings will stitch on the left and right sides of your sleeve. These indicate the perfect placement for your snap fasteners. After all embroidery is complete. Trim the excess stabilizer from your design. Be careful not to cut the satin stitching.
Final Assembly: Simply attach snap fasteners at the marked positions, and your Vision Valet eyeglass sleeve is complete and ready to use!
With these clear, straightforward steps, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can create a professional-quality organizer that's both beautiful and functional. Start stitching your Vision Valet collection today!
