Photo Tutorial - No Sew Tote

We used the quote 'I'm older than the internet' for this tutorial.

This Project Consists of 4 Sections:

• Embroidery (step 1)
• Prepare T-Shirt (steps 2 – 7)
• Prepare bottom of T-shirt (steps 8 – 12)
• Optional ideas (Steps 13 – 15)

Step 1: Take any old T-Shirt and Embroider your Favorite Design

Step 2: Lay T-Shirt on a flat surface

Step 3: Cut away the first sleeve.

Step 4: Fold T-Shirt in half and cut away the other sleeve.

Step 5: This is what your “Tote” looks like

Step 6: Cut out the neckline. You can cut any shape you would like…Round or V Shape

Step 7: Your “Tote” so far…

Step 8: Cut from the bottom approx 1″ wide strips. You can cut them approx 4″ in length.

Step 9: Close up of the strips

Step 10: Tie a back and front string to each other, using a double knot.

Step 11: Do this with all the strings.

Step 12: Your T-Shirt Tote Bag

Step 13: Optional – cut off the shoulder pieces and tie each in a knot.

Step 14: Your No Sew Tote Bag is Complete.
