Every crafter needs a matching scissors pouch and fob! These adorable sets keep your precious snips safe while adding personality to your craft space. The pouch prevents damage to both scissors and projects, while the matching fob makes them easy to find in your crafting chaos.
Materials Needed (for 6x10 inch hoop design):
1. Cut-away stabilizer
2. Embroidery thread
3. Batting - 6" x 10"
4. Front fabric - 6" x 10"
5. Lining fabric - 6" x 10"
6. Contrast fabric - 6" x 10"
7. Batting - 6" x 10"
8. Back fabric - 6" x 10"

Hoop the stabilizer. Stitch color stop 1.

Place batting and front fabric over outline using spray adhesive.

Stitch next color stop to secure fabric/batting. Continue following color chart up to last 6 color stops.

For lining, spray adhesive on back and add lining fabric.


Stitch to secure.

Remove hoop, trim excess fabric. Re-hoop.

Rear view.

Running stitch shows where the satin outline will secure top raw edge.

Satin stitch cover inner section.

Wider outline to stitch

Remove hoop. Turn hoop over (rear view)

Add batting sandwiched between two fabric layers at back of hoop.




Secure fabric layers with adhesive spray.

Remember to use matching top and bobbin thread for a professional finish.

Pre-last Color stop: Stitch batting/fabric layers.

Remove, trim excess, re-hoop.

Add ribbon loop to fob and scissor case (optional)

Final Color stop: Satin outline stitch.

Rear view.

Finishing: Remove from hoop, trim stabilizer.



Cut away water-soluble between inner/outer satin stitches, avoiding fabric.


Project complete!
