Customer project: Space Exploration Quilt by Jean from the United Kingdom

The Space Exploration Complete Quilt and Game is one of my favorite projects and Jean created the perfect Space Quilt. "Well done Jean and thank you very much for sharing your project with us." Your friend, Annemarie

And now you copy and paste the Game Rules at the bottom of the page. HAVE FUN!

"Hello Annemarie, Thought you might like to see my Space quilt. Loved making it. Another one for a grandchild. Regards, Jean"

Jean used the Space Exploration Complete Quilt and Game for this delightful project.

Space Exploration Complete Quilt and Game by aStitch aHalf.net
Objective:
The objective of the game is to navigate from the start to the finish by strategically moving along the numbered spaces, using forward arrows to advance and backward arrows to go back.

Materials:
Stitched/embroidered Space Exploration Quilt Game
Player tokens (different colors for each player)
Dice
Rulebook (instructions)

Setup:
Place the game (quilt) in the center of the playing area.
Each player selects a player token and places it on the "Start" space.
Each player rolls the dice, and the player with the highest roll goes first.

Gameplay:

  • Players take turns in clockwise order.
  • On a player's turn, they roll the dice and move their token forward along the numbered spaces.
  • Players must follow the direction of the arrows on the spaces:
  • Forward arrows: Move the indicated number of spaces in the direction of the arrow.
  • Backward arrows: Move the indicated number of spaces in the opposite direction of the arrow.
  • If a player lands on a YELLOW space, they can roll the dice again
  • If a player lands on a space occupied by another player, the player in the space must move back to the previous unoccupied space.
  • The first player to reach the "Finish" space is the winner.

Winning:
The first player to reach the "Finish" space is the winner of the Space Exploration game.
